Megan Mills at Swann Soiree's coordinated my wedding and she is amazing! She made the process so easy by always being available for questions and for calming my nerves. On the actual day of the wedding, Megan arrived complete with an emergency bag with everything a bride could possibly need. I was able to completely enjoy my wedding and didn't have to worry about a thing because I knew Megan had it under control. Megan is very professional and a joy to work with!

Brenda Swann. Hard to put into words exactly how good she is at what she does! We hired Brenda as our Wedding Coordinator and instantly felt the weight of the world come off our shoulders. We were planning a destination wedding in San Diego from Massachusetts, and had initially booked an all inclusive package with a local well regarded caterer. Planning from afar requires a great amount of research, and we constantly came across many raving reviews of Brends. At that time, we hired Brenda as a Day of Coordinator. As the process moved along with our caterer we found we really weren’t happy with the package we chose and the vendors we had to choose from. After meeting with Brenda for the first time, 4 months before the wedding we instantly fell in love and completely trusted her. We decided to cancel our all inclusive package with the caterer and upgrade Brenda’s services. BEST decision we ever made!Brenda helped us find the perfect wedding vendors, and negotiated awesome rates for us. We gave her a budget we needed to stay within and she literally was within budget down to the penny. She worked extra hard to save us some money (re-using the décor throughout the reception; aisle décor became cocktail hour décor, etc). When we told Brenda about the $75 fee to move the chairs a couple feet from the “aisle” to the tables she laughed, and I am pretty sure she moved all the chairs herself! Every vendor she recommended for us was awesome, and a perfect fit for our personalities. We never got the impression we were just another wedding, or just a customer to Brenda. She truly became a part of our wedding, and every conversation we had with her made us feel very special, and at ease. When we talked, she truly listened. We had a hard time trying to explain our “vision” because we knew what we wanted it to “look” like, but weren’t sure how exactly to do it. Brenda has an amazing eye for design, and has a gift for being able to understand what you are talking about/ envisioning.Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and that was completely a credit to Brenda and her hard work. Everything was absolutely perfect! We can honestly say we would not have changed 1 thing! Nothing went wrong! The only “panick” we had was when we realized we didn’t print our vows before we left home… but Brenda printed them and brought them for us that morning! The whole wedding day flowed perfectly. She always seems to know exactly what needs to be done and when to do it. There were so many little touches Brenda planned for us that we never even knew about until our wedding day. She is a special woman, and the BEST wedding vendor you could ever find. Our family and friends are still talking about how awesome and amazing Brenda is! I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of our friends looked into a San Diego destination wedding when they begin their planning!

I am the type of person who wants something done right, and doesn't really have the aptitude for decorating/event coordinating. I was referred to Brenda through another friend. My life was a bit busy when we were engaged so I hired Brenda to run the whole shebang. Brenda listened to what we wanted and then ran with it. I believe in hiring the best and letting them do what they want with my minimal direction. All of the vendors she recommended absolutely fit our vision perfectly and the end result was beyond our wildest dreams. Most importantly, I found it to be a HUGE stress reliever to have a non-biased 3rd party, who you won't offend by telling "no," help to put together one of the best days of your life. I can't imagine having to do this on my own or having to reign in my mother or mother-in-law, etc. :)

Sherry was so awesome - I don't know what we would have done without her. She helped us with coordinating with vendors, the timeline, remembering little details. Above all, she made sure our wedding day was stress free which allowed us to have fun! Thanks Sherry!

Brenda is the absolute best! If you are looking for a wedding planner that is professional, FUN, and great with details. Don't hesitate on booking her now! For my daughters wedding, we researched, researched and did more research and after meeting Brenda, my daughter, her fiance, and I decided we made the right choice. That decision was confirmed every step of the way.We also heard from so many of our other vendors, NR3 Videographers, Rae Florae, Rev. Tuttle, JMC how much they LOVED working with Brenda. And it's great to know that your planner is highly regarded from others in the industry.She went out of her way to help in anyway possible. She helped advise us on flowers and worked wonders on arranging transportation for hotel guests and the limo for the bride and groom. We were told by several transportation companies good luck getting a limo during prom season ... but Brenda made it happen :) Every detail was taken care of, and she took such great care making sure everything was perfect from making sure the bride/groom and bridal party had beverages and appetizers before the ceremony and during picture taking, to finding the perfect location for the cake table, to gathering up left behind items at the venue after the wedding. I highly recommend her. She is a joy to work with and a warm, caring, fun loving, person who gets everything accomplished. She is a "must have" for your wedding!!!

Brenda is truly amazing!!! We give her 5 stars all the way!!! She had gone above and beyond for my wedding to make the day run as smooth as possible and made my dream wedding come alive!! She was amazing throughout the whole wedding planning process, she was there to help with any questions, and go to any appointments if needed and had get connections with vendors to help pull out all the stops and always had great ideas!!!!! My husband and I live out of town, so Brenda was great on making sure she met my needs as a bride and through the planning and helped out my husband when he needed it too! The day of the wedding ran soo smooth because of all the hard work! Words cant explain how great she is! LOVE HER!

Brenda is THE best! She is such a sweetheart and so easy to work with. She has great ideas and answers all of your questions. She definitely takes the stress out of planning. From the moment I met her I knew we had to have her! Brenda and Sherry were there on our wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly and it did. Sherry was such a doll! We hit it off immediately and I had no problems leaving everything up to them on the big day.

Brenda was amazing! We booked her for her 'Journey' package. We debated originally about getting a wedding coordinator but are so glad that we did! Brenda gave us great advice and recommendations for wedding vendors during the planning process. She met with us a few times at the beginning and was also available by phone or email with any questions we had. She responded within 1-2 days most of the time - understandably her weekends are usually pretty busy! Brenda also was really good at keeping us on track in terms of planning. She had us finish all our DIY projects by Monday the week of the wedding so that we could really relax and enjoy family/friends who had come into town for the wedding which was really great! She pushed us (gently, of course!) when we needed to stop procrastinating about hiring particular vendors.Lastly, she was invaluable the week of and day of the wedding. Brenda and her intern Sherry took care of making sure the reception venue looked great by setting up our guest book table, memory table, table numbers, placecards... everything! Brenda also served as a great point of contact for all the vendors so that nobody had to contact us with questions - that was my husband and I could focus on each other, our families, our friends!

Selecting Swann Soirees for Wedding Planning services was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Brenda and her team are the best! They answered any and all our questions and truly have in depth industry knowledge that helped us immensely. We always felt like we could ask anything…room placement, timelines, sequence of events, and even how our family and wedding party should walk down the aisle. Brenda is worth her weight in gold! We would HIGHLY recommend Swann Soirees!!

There is something to be said for putting a brides mind at ease and I could not imagine planning a wedding without Brenda in my corner. While I lived in Virginia Beach, Brenda helped me plan my San Diego wedding. She took on the task of taking pictures and video of my rehearsal dinner venue so I could feel involved in the process and responded to emails/calls promptly. I cant stress this enough. There were moments during our wedding that were a little overwhelming, just trying to make sure I stopped to talk to everyone, and it was such a great feeling knowing Brenda was there to take care of everything else. Brenda is an absolute beautiful person inside and out and we were honored to have her be apart of our day.

Swann Soirees was the best investment I made in choosing vendors for my wedding. I didn’t have a very large wedding (~80 guests) but the venue I chose posed some unique logistical challenges. The Swann Soirees team had a ton of ideas. Even though we had hired Megan Mills, one of the fantastic coordinators at Swann Soirees, to run our wedding, Brenda Swann, the owner, went out of her way to meet with my husband and I while she was visiting San Francisco on business. She was terrific. Megan and Sherry Tarrant ran the rehearsal and coordinated the wedding day and they were both AMAZING! They rolled up their sleeves immediately and got to work. They helped with last minute decorations, coordinated the timeline with our vendors and made sure everything was running smoothly. At one point, one of our wedding guests dropped a glass onto concrete and Megan was there 2 seconds later with a broom, cleaning it all up. While we were taking family photos after the ceremony, Megan brought us a full platter of the appetizers that our guests were enjoying at the cocktail reception, so that we wouldn’t starve the whole evening. Most importantly, they brought me, my groom, and our parents, peace of mind that the event that we’d been planning for months and months was in experienced and capable hands. I would highly recommend Swann Soirees to anyone.

First off, words cannot express how grateful we were to have Brenda & Sherry there to coordinate our big day. First off, Brenda was always will to meet with us whenever we were in town (we came from out of town) and our meetings were ALWAYS productive and left Daniel feeling more at ease with everything. They prepped us with the proper info to relay to our bridal party and what to expect on the day of.They were there for our rehearsal and made sure to introduce themselves to everyone so that people would know to go to them for questions or concerns...and not us. They made sure to ask us about everything that they needed to do on the day of and what materials we gave them for setting up all our detail stuff. They confirmed our vendors...I didnt even need to call a single one. They came by the hotel to check on us and make sure everything was ok. They were there at the ceremony to line everyone up, pin everyone's flowers and distribute bouquets and then they went to reception to continue setting up and making sure all our other vendors got everything right. On the day of, they brought into the seating area of the Darlington house to take a look at everything that was set up, and it was AMAZING!! I didnt know what to say!! That whole day was awesome because we didnt have to worry about anything or think of anything...literally, I didnt have to memorize where to be at what time, I knew brenda would come get us when we needed to be somewhere. I dont even know if anything went wrong that day...and i will never know...because brenda and sherry would have taken care of it and made sure that it would not stress me out. It is because of them and the way they work with everyone that made our day enjoyable for us...we were able to eat, to remember all the highlights, and just have a good time.Investing in their services is very well worth it and will bring a whole new element to your big day!! and working with them pre-wedding...is really a joy!! They are all very knowledgeable and offer great insight to your planning. They are not pushy and dont try to imply using preffered vendors...in fact they will recommend to you vendors that match your style, budget & needs, no matter if they are "prefered" or not. And all the people they recommend are of high caliber quality. We had a couple vendors that Brenda recommended and because we trusted her so much, we just contacted them, talked about what we needed and booked them. No need for us to do additional comparisons....and these vendors were awesome!!We would highly recommend Swann Soirees to coordinate anyone's wedding.

Brenda was our fairy! I did the "month-of" package for our wedding in July 2010. She helped us with the timeline and details leading up to the big day, including things that were not on my radar, like special pens for the guestbook and coloring books for the kids. She was calm, cool, and collected the entire day and took care of things before I realized they needed to be taken care of. Due to the size of my wedding (75 guests), I didn't think I would need a wedding planner, but having someone there to make the phone calls and put out the small fires throughout the day allowed me to focus on the importance of the day instead of worrying about paying my vendors. I highly recommend Swann Soirees, not only for a flawless event, but most importantly, for peace of mind.

If you are having a hard time about making a decision about finding the right Wedding Coordinator or Day of, look no further! Seriously! I was so pleased with Swan Soirees and their professionalism and how they handle business that I would highly recommend them to anyone!! I am of the personality that likes things, let's say...perfect! :) So it was a big decision for me to find the right company. Call it fate or divine intervention, but Swan Soirees fell into my lap. I was so fortunate to get Kristy as my Day Of. She was exceptional and so calming and sweet. I feel a friendship has blossomed in the process too. They don't treat you like a number. I really have a hard time putting in to words how amazing Brenda was before, during and after our wedding. Prior to the wedding, she found us almost all of our vendors, all within our budget and they were all exactly what we wanted. She was always there to answer any dumb little question I had. My wedding day was just what it was supposed to be...the best day of my life. I was so relaxed and didnt have to worry about a thing, because I completely trusted that Brenda had it under control. If anything did go wrong I certainly didnt know about it. I got several compliments from bridesmaids and guests how amazing it was to have her there. After the wedding, I also didnt have to worry about a thing. I knew all my stuff would be put away in the appropriate places and she even handed us a little "to go" bag of food to take to our hotel...which was the perfect snack before bed! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and my husband and I agree, we could not have done it without Brenda!

Brenda and her staff provided "day of" services for my daughter's wedding on April 17, 2010. They were so amazing and wonderful, and we will always be grateful to them. Brenda had so much energy, such good ideas, and was on top of every detail. She has excellent interpersonal skills and a fun sense of humor. She ran the rehearsal, interfaced with all the vendors, and made sure the reception ran smoothly. Choosing Brenda was one of the smartest decisions we made in the course of planning this wedding. She made this day a dream come true.
