DJ Phreek and his assistant were fantastic professionals and super fun people, we could not have asked for more. Vynce absolutely nailed cocktail hour and dinner music, everyone was complimented the entire music selection and the dancing was a blast! All of our guests said that they could tell it was our wedding and the music was very us. Vynce knew how to keep the party going and also how to include personal touches and keep everyone happy. It was enough of a mix to keep everyone happy (older people included). We cannot begin to thank them for doing everything from the lanterns, uplights, sound, and music that really made our wedding memorable, intimate, and emotional. Without a doubt, I would be my recommend Vynce for anyone looking for a DJ in the area.

I couldn't be more disappointed with "DJ Phreek" Vynce Pham. Three days prior to our wedding he sent me an email (Yes, I said email!!) to cancel, saying that he had started antibiotics for a "mild case of strep throat" and wouldn't be able to DJ at our wedding. My husband called him, practically begging him to do our wedding and even offering more money. We weren't asking for much...just someone to play the songs and follow the timeline that we had spent hours working on. He offered another DJ to us, one that had only two or three reviews online. A DJ is a BIG part of a wedding. We went with Vynce because he had so many great reviews online, but it's all a sham. In trying to find another DJ, we were told that Vynce is known for doing this to brides when a better offer comes along. He refunded our money, but did so without any apology. He feels zero responsibility to his clients, and is a jerk. While he may do a great job at the weddings he attends, it's not worth the risk!

can't go wrong with Vynce! he definitely knows his stuff and has state of the art equipment. he had people dancing all night! on top of that, he really got the crowd pumped up for the grand entry. Vynce has a great outgoing personality, which plays well with all crowds. He even offers lighting, gobo, and draping services too! We used him for all these items it couldn't have turned out any better! The LIGHTING was absolutely amazing and made the reception look like a million bucks. I would recommend DJ Music Phreek (Vynce) to anybody!!

Vynce did my wedding on Sept. 10. From our first meeting, I knew Vynce was a true professional and that we would be in good hands if we chose to go with him. He has an easy going personality and really seemed to want to provide music that would reflect my husband and my personality, while ensuring the crowd had fun. Throughout the planning process, I would shoot questions his way, which he would always answer promptly and professionally. He was an excellent communicator and would ask clarifying questions whenever needed to make sure the understood what we really wanted. During my wedding, everything ran pretty smoothly. He did an excellent job reading the crowd and the reception turned into a huge dance party. I had so many compliments on him. So many people told me that my wedding was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to. My dad, who initially thought we were overpaying him, ended up being so happy with his services that he gave him a generous gratuity, the day-of coordinator said she was going to put him on their preferred vendors list, and my 10 year old cousin, asked if he could be the DJ for her wedding, too! The room also looked great with the lights. My only possible complaint is that there were a few songs on our must play list that didn't get played, but I think it was because he was reading the crowd dynamics and felt that the songs wouldn't fit in. Either way, I'd highly recommend Vynce to anyone for any event! He knows what he's doing and has great customer service.

Music Phreek DJ & Lighting was off the chain! (: Finding a DJ seemed like the most difficult vendor to find for our wedding. I was being a super picky bride! lol I didn't want someone cheesy or boring, but someone FUN and who would keep the party going! Just like Vynce did! All of our guests had SOOOO much fun dancing, especially playing the dance off game! The photos from the game are PRICELESS!!! lol Thank you Vynce for making the reception room look so beautiful with all of the up lighting! Vynce was always professional and was very helpful in creating a music timeline for our day. I had the time of my life dancing at my wedding, thank you Vynce for party rocking it out!

DJ Music Phreek – All I have to say is D-D-DJ! Vynce and his team absolutely delivered. I have been to been to over 40 weddings in my lifetime and been married once before, we had very high expectations when we booked him…and he delivered above and beyond! From the beginning we felt extremely comfortable putting our day in his hands. Not only was he professional and courteous, but also he guided us every step of the way with insightful, thoughtful suggestions to make our day memorable. We hired Vynce to be our DJ for our wedding in July, and he was amazing! Our guests all told us how much fun they had, and we know it was because of Vynce's talent and ability to read the crowd! Vynce was so helpful and thoughtful throughout the planning process, and even made a cd for us with all the songs we chose so that we can remember the night forever. His lighting services are just as wonderful- Jesse, his lighting expert, truly went above and beyond to make sure we had just what we wanted, and that it was all within our budget. Vynce was the easiest, most professional, best vendor to work with. He will make your day worry free, but most importantly, so much fun for you and for all your guests!

DJ Vynce is awesome! We interviewed several DJs before talking to DJ Vynce, but from the beginning I could tell he could be someone we would want to work with. He replied quickly to all of my emails and was extremely professional. In our initial meeting, my now-husband and I felt very comfortable with DJ Vynce and trusted he would do a great job at our wedding. We were not disappointed! The greatest testament to that was at the end of the wedding, after the final song played, our guests were chanting for one more song – DJ Vynce really knew how to get the energy level up. He played the variety of music we wanted and even was able to fit in some requests. Thank you DJ Vynce for helping make our wedding such a huge success!

Where to start...So many great things to say about Vynce...in fact, ONLY great things to say about Vynce. Let's start a list: Personality - Vynce is extremely personable and professional. His confidence and calmness made us feel confident and calm about our Big Day. Perceptiveness – Vynce is very insightful and he speaks from a lot of experience. He was never pushy, and he gave us some extremely helpful suggestions for our wedding. He doesn’t have a “music bias” and is able to accommodate all tastes of music. He was also very intuitive in helping us to select the appropriate lighting for our venue (Rancho Bernardo Inn). Preparedness – Vynce has many different music lists and samples of wedding song selections and itineraries. All of these resources were particularly useful. We also appreciated his lighting samples. We had confidence in knowing exactly what we were getting. Precision – Vynce wants your Big Day to run just as smoothly as YOU do! You can count on him to return your emails and respond to your questions promptly. He never took more than 24 hours to respond to any of our inquiries. Truth be told, I don’t know if he ever took more than 2 or 3 hours to respond to one of our emails. We were impressed from the get-go! Perfection! – You will not find a better DJ than Vynce. We gave Vynce freedom in choosing some of our music (i.e. what would be played during the cocktail hour, during dinner, etc.). All of his selections were cared for in detail. He truly got to know us and took our personalities into account. Each song I heard was a song that I loved, and I didn’t even have to ask him to play it! Our dancing went all night.All of my expectations were met, and ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS WERE SURPASSED. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, everything I had always dreamed it would be. Our guests had such a great time on the dance floor that we still have people ask us for the Music Phreek contact info on a regular basis, and our wedding was 5 months ago. Vynce did an amazing job, a lot of my guest including my coordinator said we got a really good DJ. He kept the party going and even my husband who does not dance at all was out on the dance floor. Vynce work well with us and is very friendly. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family. My coordinator said that sometimes the DJ's are the hardest to work with, but Vynce was friendly and work well with my other vendors.

Love love love Vynce! What an awesome DJ! We are so extremely lucky to have had him as our wedding DJ. He made everything so easy and effortless. My every whim and request was met with professionalism and surprising flexibility! We were lucky enough to have Vynce Pham DJ our April 23 wedding at the Ultimate Skybox at the Diamond View Tower. Vynce was great and so easy to work with: he walked us through every step of the process, gave us feedback and advice when we asked for it, and helped to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. We had a few “different” ideas that we wanted to incorporate, and Vynce helped to make those ideas work seamlessly into the day. In addition, my husband and I both love music, but enjoy different genres: he loves old school hip-hop and R&B, and I am a country girl. Despite our differences, Vynce made it work perfectly and the music was a true reflection of the two of us and our relationship. We also used Vynce to do lighting for the reception – once again, he made the process easy, had useful suggestions and the made the place look even better than we had expected. It was gorgeous and we received many compliments from our guests and even our site coordinator who has seen it all! Like most brides, I worried about things going wrong on the day of. However, all of my fears were calmed because I knew that Vynce could handle any problem that came his way. Of all the vendors we worked with (and we had quality ones across the board), Vynce definitely instilled the most confidence. Having such confidence in him allowed me to be present in the moment and fully enjoy our wedding day. Vynce also created some very special memories for us. As you probably have heard, the “Dance of the Decades” is so much fun and is definitely something that should not be missed. Take our advice: hire Vynce “DJ Phreek” Pham. Vynce Pham AKA Music Phreek, is absolutely AMAZING! Having a DJ that you are confident in on one of the biggest days of your life and to make sure the music and the flow of the ceremony and reception goes well was one of the most important things to me. Everything was flawless! My husband and I met with him a few times before the big day to discuss our music selection and for ways to make it really fun for everyone! We incorporated a really fun icebreaker before open dancing started! We had a dance off with our guests that had no idea they were in the competition! We paired guests up with people they didn’t know and the other guests had to clap for the couple they liked the most! It was a lot of fun! Not only does Vynce DJ but he also provides lighting! I would recommend to every Bride to get LIGHTING!! It was important to me to make sure lots of people were dancing and the lighting really helps people get into the mood! I got married at Admiral Kidd and had my reception in the Skyline room and it has huge windows that look out over the water at Downtown San Diego and is beautiful but because the room is so huge you want to bring the focus to the dance floor and Vynce really made that happen with the lighting. Something I really liked about Vynce was that he brings two set ups, so he had his equipment set up for the ceremony and a separate set up in the reception so there was never a time without music because he never had to move any equipment. He was constantly focused on the day and what we envisioned for the day. I couldn’t have been happier with Vynce and his service! I had 200 guests on a Sunday night and everyone was out on the dance floor dancing until we had to leave! It couldn’t have gone any better! I have been told by so many people that they had such an amazing time and loved my DJ. I would recommend Vynce to any bride that needs an exceptional DJ! Thank you so much Vynce!!! :)

If you are looking for a DJ, Vynce is your man! He kept the dance floor full all night and everyone LOVED him! Even a month after the wedding, we still have people saying how much fun they had because of him! Vynce is so easy to work with too. He met with us first to see if we would mesh as a group, and of course we did! I liked the fact that he wouldn’t just take anyone as clients, and made sure we were all on the same page well before the event. He really cares about setting the right mood and making sure the night flows. After you book with him he gives you some deadlines and is very active and involved in the process, and his follow up and availability are great. His years of experience really pay off, as he brings up things you would never think about and helps you work through them so there are NO surprises on your day. Vynce was a consummate professional, and is NOT cheesy like a lot of DJ’s out there either! That was really important to us. Vynce helped keep us on track all night with our special dances, cake cutting, etc. He has every song you could ever imagine to select from, and has tons of lighting options to chose from too! If you want to have a good time and keep your dance floor going all night long, we would 100% recommend Vynce!!!

Vynce was our dj for our wedding this past weekend and he was amazing! He was very professional, but fun at the same time. He did everything we asked of him and more! He played a great variety of songs that everyone seemed to like. He didn't bug us during the wedding for petty stuff, but still made sure we knew the things we needed to know. I would recommend him to any brides in the future.

Vynce is, hands down, the BEST DJ ever!!! No need to look around for other DJs, and just pick Vynce...you won't regret it! He is very professional, responsive, and a great pleasure to work with. DJ Vynce is OUTSTANDING!! He did a fantastic job at our vow renewal ceremony! Our guests loved all the music and were very pleased he had every song they requested, old and new! He is very responsive to your needs and provides great suggestions to make your event special! Vynce is very well-organized and professional from beginning to end. Vynce even helped us with favors! Vynce was great! He really worked with us and got to know who we were. The music was great and he was a great MC. He went over our itinerary with us the day before making sure he got every name and detail correct. He takes his job very seriously and expects the same from his clients to make the process smooth and easy for everyone. Provide him with the type of music you like and he will make your wedding great! He is quick with email and super responsive! It was great working with him.
