I Love Tacos Catering

I Love Tacos Catering catered our June 4, 2011 wedding in Temecula. We are Mexican food lovers so it seemed like the obvious choice for us. Edna was very responsive and, within a couple of days of first contacting I Love Tacos, we had signed the contract. We chose empanadas, chile rellenos, and mini tamales for the appetizers and our guests loved them all. The empanadas were gone within a few minutes and the rest shortly after. Our tacos were cooked on-site, which I thought was very cool. The tacos (carne, pork, and chicken) were delicious, as was the salad, beans, rice, and tres leches cake. The roasted jalapenos, salsas, and chips... YUM! Everything was presented beautifully and on time. Even better, our guests loved the food. I highly recommend I Love Tacos Catering for any event.

The food was great! Edna was great to work with. She was always quick at responding to our emails. Our guests absolutely loved the food! Our only issue, and we are sad to say, they weren't particularly pleasant to the groom and one of our guests during setup. Other than that, would have received a perfect score. I would still recommend them for any occasion! Their food is excellent!

We definitely love I Love Tacos Catering! We got amazing food-and a ton of it!-for a very reasonable price. All of our guests were satisfied and many commented on how good the food was. The only thing we would have liked to be different would be to be able to keep the drink stations throughout the night, but we solved that problem with the bar and bottled water. When we were looking into using them for our catering Edna was very responsive and got us quotes right away. Within a week of starting to work with them we had a solid contract with everything we wanted.

The caterer was great. Edna was easy to work with from the proposal stage through the event and she even followed up with me after. I heard lots of people say the food was good. I did actually eat and am glad I did since what I had was yummy. Edna and her crew were totally on it and a lot of guests were impressed that they were cooking right there on sight and hand rolling the taquitos right there too. There was plenty of food and they also are full service so we utilized them for our table and chair rentals. They beat me and my helpers on arrival for set up and we got there 15 minutes early. They had all of the outdoor set up complete in the reception area and were starting on chair set up shortly after we arrived. They were really fast and they helped us move the chairs after the ceremony to the reception. I honestly am not sure how smooth this part went. All I know was that from the time we went back into the boathouse after the ceremony and walked back out to the ceremony area for pictures the chairs were gone, seriously a span of a few minutes. I know that I asked a few guys to help and grab a few chairs but did not expect it to happen so fast! Tear down was also a breeze with them. We had a Mexican buffet and also appetizers. They provided water and sodas which explains how I over purchased the soda for the bar. We arranged for the catering portion to exit through the rolling front doors and not run through the reception area. We set them up far enough to the side that I never actually saw them leave either. The on site person for our venue helped them take care of this. Edna just let me know when she was leaving and then the guys who set up the rentals were back at 10 pm and once linens and centerpieces were pulled they took care of the entire tear down for rentals. They also took all the trash at the end of the night.We also had the caterer provide the bartender. He was really nice and I only was near the bar a couple of times but I didn’t have to order and he refreshed my drink each time without me saying a thing. He had a heavy hand too and people drank a lot but didn’t get wasted. I would totally use them again if we ever had a large scale event and fully reccommend them

the food was sooooo good and i loved the fact that we could have churros with the meal.. if you love Mexican food then this is the place for you!!!

We had so much fun with our non-traditional choice of providing on-site grilled tacos grilled for our wedding guests, who were primarily from the Midwest and generally unfamiliar with this type of food and style of service. Having worked in catering, I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff from the time I received the proposal through the wedding day. Service was so seamless that I never even noticed when they cleaned up and left. The food was excellent, the buffets was colorful and well-presented, and I highly recommend adding extra appetizers (empanadas/chile rellenos)...our guests loved them and we ran out (which was not a problem because the meal followed immediately). The prices were hard to beat, and although I received a lower price quote from another vendor, we chose I Love Tacos because their service was more professional from the start, and I couldn't have been more pleased with our choice.

Dear I Love Tacos Catering,We just wanted to send a quick note to say THANK YOU for such an amazing job well done at our wedding rehearsal dinner. From the very beginning we were very confident with our decision hiring you on such an important day. Your quick responses to emails were always pleasant and professional and you put one stressed out bride to ease! That in itself was reason enough to hire you.On the day of the rehearsal dinner your staff arrived on time and everything just went like clockwork. The bartender was not only friendly without being intrusive, but she also made some mean margaritas. And the food! It's been over a month now and I still get comments about how fabulous the food was. Our entire wedding party was from out of town who insisted on eating Mexican for every meal, and your food knocked the socks off some of the expensive restaurants in town. I thought for sure we would run out of food as people kept going back, but you must plan for that. Oh, and thank you also for packing up our leftovers. We attacked it once we got home the day after the wedding and no words can describe... :)Feel free to pass my email along to any brides in particular who would like to speak to a very satisfied customer.
