A Beautiful Wedding

Ren and Grant were beyond helpful and professional. Our day was amazing and worry free. The weather was not completely cooperating with us but Grant remained calm and cool and got us through the day and made it easy to get lost in the moment and take it all in. This was a long distance wedding for us and Renate was amazing at getting back to me in a timely matter and made me feel confident and comfortable that everything was taken care of. Everything was perfect and I just can not say enough about how wonderful they both were. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for giving us our dream wedding day!

My fiancée and I were planning a wedding on a beach, but being from Colorado and both of us being school teachers, we were on a tight budget. The closest beach that we found to suit us was Coronado. We searched online and found A Beautiful Wedding, a company run by Renate Daversa and her husband Grant. We contacted them by email and set up the preliminaries, asked questions, and worked out details. During this process, prior to submitting our deposit, we read an online review that was very negative towards Ren and her company. We called Ren and spoke directly with her. To plan the biggest day of your life without meeting the people responsible for the details was a bit nerve racking. There are all kinds of doubts that fill your mind: Will they fulfill their end of the deal? Will they even show up? If not, can I get my money back? Ren reassured us that the negative review was a fluke by someone who was disgruntled and confused. But still, we kept in contact with Ren, just to make sure that things were going well and on track. Ren kept her word. :^) We arrived in California the day of the ceremony, and when we arrived at the beach, everyone was there waiting for us along with everything we had expected: the photographer (Fritz Harmon, who was also amazing), Grant, (Ren’s husband who performed the ceremony), all of the items for our sand ceremony, and some of the most beautiful, fresh flowers that we had ever seen. It was cold and windy that day at sunset, but Grant didn’t falter at all in his ceremony. He also didn’t “rush” because of the weather. In short, Renate, Grant, and A Beautiful Wedding met and exceeded all of our expectations. They provided what they said they would, they performed with excellence, and they followed through with their promises. AND, they were affordable and competitive in price. My fiancée and I were worried and concerned for no reason whatsoever. We HIGHLY recommend A Beautiful Wedding for anyone looking for wedding services in the San Diego area. You will not be disappointed. We did indeed have a beautiful wedding. Thank you Renate and Grant for making our day perfect.

They did the most fabulous job to make me wedding ceremony unique and memorable. The whole setup was very picture-perfect and guest-friendly at the same time. The flowers were very lovely and matched my motiff. Excellent sound system. The best part for me was the Sand Ceremony, which I thought was both unique and very profound. They took all the hassles and worries of arranging a wedding ceremony from me and made my bride very happy. I am very impressed. I would highly recommend their services.

Ren made my wedding day a dream come true! I live in the Bay Area and my husband and I celebrated our first year dating anniversary in Coronado. We knew that having a beach wedding in Coronado was our dream. Ren made it all reality from our first point of contact via email and her follow up calls, she was truly heaven sent. Getting married out of town is nerve-racking. When I found Renate and she said "just complete the questionnares and just show up. I will take care of the rest.", she really meant it! I cannot tell you what a weight lifter she was and how wonderful it was to work with her. My wedding was PERFECT in every sense and I couldn't have done it without her! In addition, the photographer that we chose from her list was AMAZING. My best friends were jealous because we got too many great photos. My wedding album is x 2! Lots of Wishes! G.Garcia

Our wedding ceremony turned out beautifully! I must admit, we were a bit worried since we did not meet Ren until the wedding day and did not know exactly what to expect, but no worries, brides, they know what theyre doing! She always quickly responds to any questions you may have. From the location, to the set-up, to my bouquet and hubbys bout, everything exceeded our expectations! Ren was so helpful through out our destination wedding planning. We were looking for a one stop stress free way to get married that was not going to break the bank account. We got everything we needed through Ren and had a beautiful ceremony on Coronado Beach. Thank you Ren for making our say extra special! And my flowers were gorgeous!

Everything was wonderful and so very easy to work with. I was very worried planning a wedding from out of state but Ren made it so easy and it was very beautiful and just the way we wanted it. We were married on Coronado beach during August and she still made our ceremony a private affair for us! I would recommed her to anyone. Thanks Ren!

They provide a large assortment of options. They will allow you to customize everything. The whole experience was fantastic. Its almost better if you give them an idea of how you want it done, then they will customize the experience for you. They are very relaxed, and friendly. We had the best wedding and felt nothing but comfortable the whole time. They are the BEST!!!

Ren was so helpful. We originally had our wedding scheduled in July but changed to June 18, 2011 with only a weeks notice Ren pulled everything together for me. She was so caring and sweet about all of our needs. Ray and I would recommend her for your special day.

Words cannot describe what a beautiful ceremony Ren helped us to have! She was very flexible, extremely nice and very accommodating. Anytime I emailed her to ask for information, she always went above and beyond to assist me including providing suggestions for our honeymoon, which was in San Diego, and an awesome photographer! On the day of our wedding on Central Beach in Coronado, Ren was super excited! She was bubbly and so ready to make sure everything was perfect for us. I will never forget her dedication and commitment to making sure everything was flawless, and it was a ceremony that we would forever reflect back on and smile. Ren, you are GREAT at what you do!! Our wedding on 03/26/11 was the most beautiful, easy experience of my life. After having to change the wedding venue 3 weeks prior, I contacted Renate to inquire about her services. I was so pleased to hear that her company was 'one-stop-shop' for all our wedding needs from the chairs to the flowers to the wedding vows and everything in between. Since we live outside San Diego, I had to really rely on her to be my coordinator through this whole process, and she was GREAT! I emailed Ren almost every day for awhile as I was still a bit rattled from all the change prior to contacting her, and she was always very quick to respond and usually within the same day. She was extremely helpful with suggestions on things where I needed them, and helped us secure the location for the wedding as well. The day of the ceremony, Ren was calm and happy, getting the wedding party organized and making sure that I didn't have to worry about a thing. The delivery of the vows was beautiful and she even honored a request to give mention in the vows to my father in law who passed away. Everyone who attended our ceremony said that it was the best they had been to in years and that everyone seemed calm and happy. Thanks to Ren! I would recommend using Ren for your event. You will receive excellent attention to detail and a fun, upbeat officiant who really is on the ball!

Renate performed our marriage in centennial park, Coronado. Everything was absolutely flawless! I hired Ren about 6 months before our wedding date. She was extremely easy to work with. Not only did she officiate our wedding, she provide the following with set-up and removal: chairs, bamboo arch(with decorations), asle runner, rose petals, bridal bouquet, MOH bouquet, sound systems, guitarist, and photographer. My favorites were the bouquets, and the venders she recommended(which I will review separately). She also emailed us a selection of vows to choose from, unless we wanted to write our own. She is extremely flexible. My guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, and everything Ren said. I would not change a thing about the wedding! You will not regret working with Ren!

Renate was a dream come true for our simple, Southern California wedding. She handled flowers, officiation, music, chairs, sound system for our simple beach ceremony in August in Coronado near San Diego. We booked her back in February because her schedule fills up fast and I am so glad we did! She made it a stress-free experience and our guests had a great time. I highly recommend her.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Ren assisted my husband & me in having the most beautiful wedding anyone could ever ask for. We planned the entire thing in less than three months and with Ren's help, you would have thought we were planning it for years. She had great hints and aids for picking our vows and readings. I don't know how you put a price on the individual that legally binds you to the person that you are going to spend the rest of your life with, but I'd say she's pretty priceless. My husband & I were both extremely satisfied with her knowledge and assistance. If you are looking for someone that isn't so judgemental and you want a special wedding that isn't like everyone elses, Ren can help you make that happen.

I would definitely recommend A Beautiful Wedding to any engaged couple. Renate was so quick to get back to us with any questions we had while trying to plan the wedding. She was also very flexible the day of our wedding when it ended up pouring rain! We were supposed to get married right on the beach but due to the weather, we had to choose an alternate location. Renate had alternate locations ready for us and was very helpful in trying to make our wedding day beautiful despite the weather. Our wedding turned out GREAT because of Renate and all of our guests loved it too. It was truly a day my husband and I will never forget! ( :
