Harpist Kate Loughrey

A dynamic and engaging musician with over a decade of experience playing for weddings, Kate is known for her versatility performing classical, jazz, and world music. As an alumna of HarpFusion, the internationally acclaimed touring ensemble, she has toured as a member and soloist to Asia, Europe, and throughout the U.S., and has recorded two CDs with the group. An award-winning harpist, Kate has also performed several world premieres and is active as both an arranger and composer for solo harp. She holds a Master of Music in Harp Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University.

Kate performs frequently in the following areas: San Diego, Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Encinitas, Leucadia, La Costa, Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos, Vista, Escondido, and Orange County.
